About Momiji Academy
Momiji Academy is a Sri Lankan Japanese language academy offering JLPT N5 to N3 courses taught by instructors based in Japan. We prepare students for higher education, professional careers, and skilled work opportunities in Japan — and support student visa pathways for those who achieve the required proficiency levels.
The Opportunity
This is an unpaid internship built for someone eager to learn. You'll get hands-on experience across the full marketing stack — content, social, SEO, and strategy — with real ownership and mentorship. If you're looking to build a portfolio and grow fast, this is for you.
What You'll Do
- Create social media content — posts, stories, reels, and short-form videos across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.
- Write one SEO-optimised blog article every two weeks for our website.
- Research competitors, analyse performance, and contribute to our marketing strategy.
- Prepare concise weekly update reports covering output, engagement, and upcoming plans.
- Drive real conversions — every piece of content should move prospective students closer to enrolling.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Media, Communications, or a related field.
- A genuine willingness to learn — we value curiosity and drive over years of experience.
- Strong branding sense — you understand visual identity, consistency, and what makes a brand stand out.
- Proficiency in Sinhala and English (both essential). Tamil and/or Japanese are a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to manage your time independently in a remote setting.
